Internal Mdeicine specializes in the treatment of disorders such as:

1. Clinical immunological allergies related to the body’s immune system (immunity), such as, allergic disorders, autoimmune disorders, and immunodeficiency disorders.
2. Gastroentero-hepatology dealing with the digestive system and liver, including treatment and prevention of disorders of the pancreas, gallbladder, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. Disorders include Pancreatitis, Hepatitis, and Cancer of the Gastrointestinal Tract and Liver.
3. The field of Geriatrics is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders in the elderly, particularly in relation to the aging process. Such disorders include malnutrition, urinary incontinence, and osteoarthritis.
4. Renal hypertension involves kidney disorders, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or more complex blood pressure problems, such as with patients who have undergone a kidney transplant or patients with hemodialysis (dialysis). Such disorders include Acute Kidney Failure, Chronic Kidney Failure, and Urinary Tract Stones.
5. The field of hematology and medical oncology deals with the diagnosis and prevention of blood diseases (hematology) and cancer (oncology), including diseases such as anemia, hemophilia, leukemia, lymphoma, and cancer.
6. Disorders associated the heart and blood vessels. Examples of such disorders include heart failure, coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, arrhythmias, and rheumatic heart disease.
7. Endocrine-metabolic-diabetes is concerned with disorders of metabolism, namely the biochemical processes and the work of hormones in the body. Examples of diseases include diabetes, thyroid disease, and diabetic ketoacidosis.
8. Pulmonology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory system disorders. Examples of diseases include asthma, bronchitis, emphysema and interstitial lung disease.
9. Rheumatology deals with the evaluation and non-surgical treatment of rheumatic diseases of the connective tissues of the body, such as joints. Examples of diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, lupus, and fibromyalgia.
10. Tropical infections deals with infectious diseases that are often found in Indonesia. Examples of diseases include dengue fever, worm infections and typhoid fever.
