History and Location
BP Batam Hospital is the pioneer hospital in Batam, serving the community since 1971. What began as a modest clinic later grew into Batam Authority Hospital (RSOB), officially designated as a Type C hospital on August 11, 1983, and subsequently upgraded to Type B status on May 2, 2002. In December 2018, BP Batam Hospital transitioned from a corporate-based hospital to a government-run institution. By May 2019, the hospital embarked on a new era with the operation of a modern, state-of-the-art facility. From its founding until today, BP Batam Hospital has remained committed to delivering the best healthcare services, guided by the spirit of PRIMA.
