Orthopedics and Traumatology treat issues in the musculoskeletal system, management of pain, mobility injuries, children’s musculoskeletal growth and development, and degenerative musculoskeletal disorders.
Orthopedics and Traumatology focuses on treatments for problems associated with the musculosketal system (upper, lower and spinal limbs) such as congenital defects (From birth), during growth, aquired due to trauma, or degeneration due to aging, and complaints from pain, bending, difficulty walking, and problems in accomplishing everyday activities.

Treatment

Orthopedics and Traumatology treats cases such as: trauma (work accidents, fractures, ruptures, lacerations, traffic accidents), pain (acute or chronic), growth and development of children’s musculoskeletal system, degenerative disorders (arthroplasty, pain, osteoporosis, and supportive treatment), diagnostics, and consultation for further referral

Treatments/Procedures include:

ORIF bone grafting surgery
rthroplasty joint replacement surgery
CRIF minimally invasive bone grafting surgery
Debridement of wound cleaning/bone and soft tissue infections
Evacuation of the corpus alienum (foreign object)
nerve clamps affecting the upper and lower limbs
pain management, management of pain that can affect the upper and lower limbs
closed repositioning and casting
correction of deformities (birth defects) such as clubfoot
tendon transfer (transfer of muscle function) in cases of paralysis of the limbs due to nervous disorders
replantation (reconnection of amputated limb)
procedures for upper and lower limb trauma due to work accidents (traumatic amputation), crushed hands (crush injury)
management of ligament injuries
